Thanks to this collaboration, employers in the Veluwe region will have the opportunity to open their doors and connect with new talent. And job seekers can explore options for a (new) workplace in this region.
Get to Know Us Without the Pressure of a Job Interview
National Job Fair Day is the day when job seekers and those looking to change careers can talk to employers without any obligation. This can be done, for example, by having a networking conversation—in person or online—which often leads to new insights, opportunities, and even concrete follow-up interviews. Or by organizing a job shadowing session, an open house, or a tour of the company.
The JobOn Foundation is the organizer of this event and is responsible for the national campaign, communications, and coordinating the networking sessions. Veluwe Portaal, together with Platform Techniek and Landstede, is handling the regional implementation: they are encouraging employers in the region to participate and advising them on how to make this event as impactful as possible.

Working to Build a Strong Region
Veluwe Portaal is an independent HR network dedicated to promoting sustainable employability and labor mobility in the Veluwe, Nijkerk, and Zeewolde regions. Through their contacts with employers, they know exactly what’s going on—and where opportunities lie. And since there is a need for new talent in this region as well, they are actively seeking to partner with JobOn this year to organize the career fair.
