1. How much does it cost to participate in the Job Fair?
Participation is free for job seekers, organizations, and professionals alike. The JobOn Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the mismatch in the job market and supporting people in their search for suitable employment. We do, however, ask participants to contribute their time and effort. Would you like to support the work of the JobOn Foundation? If so, you can make a donation.

2. Do we need to have a job opening?
No, it’s not necessary to have specific job openings; after all, the Career Visit Day is all about networking. 

3. How much time does it take to participate?
Signing up takes about 2 minutes, and the three networking calls usually take 2 to 3 hours. If you’d like to share a post on LinkedIn before or after the event, that might take an additional 15 minutes.

4. Where does the Career Visit Day take place?
The organization or professional decides whether the networking session will be in person or online. In-person sessions are the most valuable because they allow job seekers to really get a behind-the-scenes look. An organization may also choose to offer an online session. In that case, it will send a link via email for a platform such as Teams or Zoom.

5. Can I participate on a different day?
Yes, organizations work with interested job seekers to set a date and time. The networking session doesn’t have to take place on November 18, although that would obviously be the most fun!

6. As an organization or professional, how many people should I or am I allowed to have in a conversation?
By default, each professional can accept up to three sign-ups. So a maximum of 3 people can sign up, but in practice, that number could also be 0, 1, or 2. We cannot guarantee the number of participants.

7. How many interviews can I sign up for as a job seeker?
We want as many unique individuals as possible to benefit from the Career Visit Day. That’s why you can sign up for a networking interview with 1 or 2 different organizations or professionals.

8. I am an organization/professional and my profile is listed on the website. I would like to make a change—how do I do that?
Please send an email to info@werkbezoekdag.nl with your request, and we will update it on the website. 

9. Can I sign up for a time slot?
No, we ask the organization and job seekers to coordinate a date, time, and location together.
