Find a career visit that’s right for you!
Sign up for a one-on-one networking session with a professional or an open house at an organization. A networking session can take place in person or online. You can sign up for up to two career visits, so that as many job seekers as possible have the chance to participate. Use the filters to find a career visit that matches your interests. After you sign up, the professional or organization will receive your contact information and will then get in touch with you to arrange the work visit.
Pieter Koevoets | Career Coach | Werk@cetera | Networking Session
Do you know what kind of job suits you, but are you still having trouble presenting yourself effectively to potential employers? Or are you still figuring out what your next step should be?
During National Career Visit Day, you’re more than welcome to stop by my office for an open and practical discussion about your opportunities in the job market.
My name is Pieter Koevoets, and I’m a career coach, job-search trainer, and LinkedIn specialist at Werk@cetera. I help job seekers make career decisions and, above all, answer the question: How do you ensure that employers and recruiters understand who you are, what you’re capable of, and what value you can bring?
During our conversation, we won’t be looking at job openings. Instead, we’ll take a step back. What kind of role is a good fit for you? In which organizations or industries are there opportunities? What makes you an attractive candidate to an employer? And how can you present yourself more effectively through your resume, LinkedIn, networking, and job interviews?
I’d also be happy to tell you about how I work as a career coach and what trends I’m currently seeing in the job market. These include skills-based hiring, the impact of AI on the job application process, LinkedIn, and the ever-increasing importance of networking.
Don't expect a job interview or a standard sales pitch. Instead, expect an open conversation, thought-provoking questions, practical tips, and hopefully a few new insights you can put to use right away.
Feel free to ask questions. And bring a little GUTS.
Because a new job doesn't always start with a job posting. Sometimes it just starts with the right conversation.
