For more than twenty years, Dovida has been providing personalized support to vulnerable seniors who wish to continue living at home on their own terms for as long as possible. The organization has been firmly established in the Liemers region for six years now and continues to grow its client base in the municipalities of Doesburg, Duiven, Westervoort, Zevenaar, Rheden, Montferland, and Oude IJsselstreek. In the WERV region, we operate in Ede, Bennekom, Wageningen, and the surrounding areas.

As a Caregiver, you provide genuine attention. Whether it’s a good conversation at the kitchen table, going grocery shopping together, helping with appointments, or assisting with personal care—you always keep one principle in mind: focusing on what a person can still do on their own.

No specific healthcare training is required for this position. Dovida is primarily looking for people with life experience, flexibility, and a warm heart. Anyone who has ever cared for a parent, neighbor, friend, or family member often already has the right foundation. Having your own car is a practical advantage.
New employees start with comprehensive basic training, which covers topics such as personal care and dealing with dementia. Afterward, there are plenty of opportunities for further growth, for example through training in dementia care and palliative care.

The terms of employment are also well-defined: they are governed by the VVT collective bargaining agreement. And if you’re a good fit for the position, you’ll discuss the possibilities for a permanent contract as early as seven months in.
